Japan's Haru Nomura maintained her three-shot lead in the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic in San Francisco, firing a one-under par 71 in the third round. On breezy Saturday, Nomura had three birdies and two bogeys to build a 54-hole total of 10-under 206. Nomura found 11 of 14 fairways as she maintained the lead she held overnight.

Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Chris Colabello has been suspended 80 games without pay for a failed drug test, Major League Baseball said on Friday. Colabello tested positive for the performance-enhancing substance called dehydrochlormethyltestosterone that is in violation of MLB's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. The 32-year-old Colabello, who broke into the major leagues with the Minnesota Twins in 2013 before joining the Blue Jays ahead of the 2015 campaign, had a 0.69 batting average in 10 games this season.
